Non-Album Tracks

I am almost always in a state of constant creativity. My Macbook Pro goes almost everywhere with me, installed with Logic Studio and Reason 4.0. These are my primary tools for developing all my sounds. But not every song or piece of music I write or compose is suitable for inclusion on an album. Here you will find some of those tracks. If you’d like to download them just right click the title.

Sweet Dreams, Love (2006)

(An ambient-electronic track totaling just over 10 minutes. Made with sequences from Apple’s Garageband. Title named appropriately for my wife, Stacey)

The Oxbridge Heights (2004)

(One of the first things I tried when Garageband first came out. The original multi-tracks are gone, unfortunately. But here it is in a very raw mix. Title comes from a dream I had about a fictional book.)

Meta Tauta (2004)

(Greek for “after this”. I wanted to put this on Yet but it just didn’t fit)

2019 (2006)

(10 layered Arp 2600s. In the style of 70s electronica, right down down to the lo-fi beats)

Ravine: A Waltz (2006)

(Improvised from a patch I found in Reason. A pathetic tune with a lilting movement)

Seveneight (2002)

A New 7/8 (2004)

7/8 Again (2006)

(Exercises in odd-time)

Yer Cheatin’ Heart (2007)

(Country Music? Blehhh! Not on my dime. This is acoustic electronica)

It All Came To Pass (2005)

(Nothing but taking my SG out for a spin)

Loss Of Control (2006)

(Taking Reason 3.0 out for a spin)

Meditation II (2006)

(The second in a series of ambient guitar tracks)

The Latter Rain (2006)

(Graintable synth with a voice filter and ambient guitar)
